Total Futbol Club is looking for soccer coaches to lead one or more of our teams. A background in playing the sport and some coaching experience is preferred, but not required.  Having a USSF license is encouraged.  Strong leadership and communication skills are necessary and essential to motivate our players and help them hone their skills to the highest level. 


 

ABOUT TOTAL FUTBOL CLUB


Established in 2021 in Clay, AL Total Futbol Club is the premier soccer organization for youth in greater Birmingham to learn and grow their love for the beautiful game. Total Futbol Club’s mission is structured in a way to introduce and develop children in the area to play soccer and help the player reach the highest level of self-satisfaction. Our programs provide opportunities for players regardless of what the level of play.  Total Futbol Club fosters a soccer learning environment that teaches creative, attacking, and possession-style soccer built on a foundation of strong technical skills.

Total Futbol Club is a “Players 1st” designated club by U.S. Youth Soccer, and operates several youth soccer teams between the ages of 3 (U4) and 18 (U19) who compete in the Alabama Soccer League, Alabama Developmental League, and Alabama Future’s League.  

All Total Futbol Club teams train and play matches in the greater Birmingham area.


 

WHAT WE OFFER AND PROVIDE

SOCCER COACH DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


• Effectively communicate with, and manage contact between, players and parents on your team and Total Futbol Club throughout the season.

• Stay current on developments in youth soccer through reading and participation

• Complete mandatory SafeSport training, Concussion Training, and Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training, as required by Alabama Law and/or Total Futbol Club.

• Attend all coach education, training and/or informational meetings when scheduled by the Executive Director for Total Futbol Club.

• Plan, manage and run soccer training sessions for each assigned soccer team.

• Attend, coach and manage all soccer game functions for all league and tournament matches for your assigned team(s).

• Become familiar with the rules of Total Futbol Club, Alabama Soccer League, Alabama Developmental League, and Alabama Future’s League, Alabama Soccer Association, and U.S Youth Soccer.

• Perform additional responsibilities as deemed appropriate by the Executive Director.
